Today is National Child Health Day, a day when Americans are urged to work together to prevent problems and improve childhood health. One of the biggest obstacles facing kids today is the growing problem of childhood obesity. Many times, childhood obesity can be prevented by helping children stay active.

Last night when I was searching through my digital photos I came across this pic of Matt, and it's amazing how different he looks down from 230LBS to 160LBS.
Only Matt would wear be wearing a tux with flip-flops to sing with his chorus at Carnegie Hall. And what proud parents wouldn't want to get a picture of their kid peforming at Carnegie Hall on stage, but since they won't let you take pictures we had to settle on back stage pics.
I'll have to ask him if he wore shoes on stage, knowing Matt, he probably didn't.
Matt is the first one to reach his ultimate weight loss goal in our family of five [Ripley too], Jen's coming in second and Kim and I are still on our "weigh" there.
