So this morning while I was cranking away on the treadmill I decided that it's time for me to come out of my comfort zone and set a "BIG" goal to work towards.
On July 26, 51 days from now I'll reach a new milestone, I'll be 50 years YOUNG! And for people that know me, they know first hand that I've never grown up and chances are, never will.
So I want to enter my next 50 years FULL STEAM AHEAD >, so I can't think of a better "weigh" to do that than to start actively training for my 3rd SPRINT TRIATHLON.
And the reason I created this category as "Fat Men Can" is because I'm living proof that if you're in pretty good overall health "Fat Men Can" do a lot of things, even a SPRINT TRIATHLON.
Chances are that by the time the event takes place, Sunday, September 9th [95 days from today] I'll most likely be down to 250LBS, which puts me in what they call the Clydesdale category.
A large powerful draft horse of a breed developed in the Clyde valley of Scotland, having white feathered hair on its fetlocks
In the running world anyone over about 190LBS is considered a Clydesdale.
Hey doing the race at 250LBS wil be a breeze considering I did it the first time at 285LBS and then the next time at 275LBS. So I'm setting a "BIG" goal of training and fueling my body to weigh in at a maximum of 250LBS "Fully Clothed" on September 9th.
I'll be back with some photos from my previous SPRINT TRIATHLON'S, but for now I wanted to put a stake in my blog to declare it and share it!
You will be doing the triathlon "fully clothed" right?
:)

Happy Early Birthday! 50 is great!!!! I will be 52 this year (Oct.) and I don't plan on growing up any time soon either. I am very impressed - your 3rd sprint triathlon - very cool! Lady Rose
